APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Student Teaching Application Forms are available in Room 223 Education or 265 Matthaei. Also, forms are available at the College of Education Website: coe.wayne.edu

4. Click on Student Teaching Applications

Applications must be submitted to the Student Teaching Office, 223 Education.

A copy of the application and a copy of short placement form go to Doug Curry (may (be left in 263 Matthaei/mailbox) for Mr. Curry.

An Eligibility Report Form must accompany the application when it is submitted to 223 Education. Undergraduate students call (313) 577-4265 and set up an appointment with Miss Kidwell to complete the forms. MAT students e-mail Miss Kidwell (A.Kidwell@wayne.edu) with the term in which you plan to teach, and your WSU student I.D. number. You will receive a return e-mail with request for any additional material needed.

Red Cross certifications are to be submitted to Miss Kidwell. Copies of certifications may be left in 265 Matthaei.

Application forms must be submitted for each student teaching contact requested. The Eligibility Report Form, however, must be submitted only for the first request.
